Without water the harvests will fail

Without easy access to water, children like Maria will never go to school as she has to walk miles to find water that’s not even safe to drink.

Without safe water, one child will continue to die every 20 seconds from diseases related to drinking dirty water.

BUT, with the support of your church this Harvest, we will be able to TURN ON THE TAP for many more of the 1.1 billion people who have no access to safe water.

3 WAYS TO CHALLENGE AND GROW YOUR CHURCH THIS HARVEST

Take part in the TURN ON THE TAP Harvest Weekend and see how it strengthens the commitment of your church members to each other, their wider community and to some of the world’s poorest and most disadvantaged people.

Here are just three ideas for the weekend – do feel welcome to do more (or less!).

1. TURN ON THE TAP on a 4 mile walk
   Raise awareness and funds by going on a TURN ON THE TAP Challenge Walk – great fun and good for all the church family to do together on either the Saturday or Sunday.
2. TURN ON THE TAP Harvest Supper
   Invite friends and neighbours to a special Harvest Supper on the Saturday evening. Perform the water sketch that is available for download here.
3. TURN ON THE TAP at a Harvest Festival Celebration
